We are expanding our team and are seeking an experienced Investment Director to lead the Investment Operations team. Under the direction of the CFO, the Investment Director will advise the Investment Advisory Committee (IAC) and CEO, and coordinate with the investment consultant in the selection, review and monitoring of investment managers and vehicles. This position manages investment operations functions including due diligence, investment performance reporting, and compliance. Additionally, the incumbent will monitor total fund, asset class, and investment manager performance, and review compliance with investment policies, guidelines, and manager mandates.

Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required; CFA, CPA and/or Master’s degree in relevant field preferred. • Significant experience with investment management and investment operations; current or prior NASD or equivalent securities license(s) preferred, with a demonstrated knowledge of equities, fixed income, real estate, private equity and hedge funds. • Required: Experience with financial reporting and general business processes and with investment reporting and compliance reporting systems. • Preferred: Experience with Commonwealth financial policies and procedures; experience with federal and state regulations relating to Section 529 plans, accounting principles and related activities; Knowledge of SEC and applicable municipal security disclosure rules.
